Microsilica Gel-Colored is a colored gel patented by FABIR Co. to build colored concrete which will not only reduce the strength and durability of concrete, but also will increase the strength of concrete, as opposed to the pigments used in concrete .colored concrete is an good and easy way to dress up your project. The colors used in color concrete often reduced concrete stability and strength. Even some important and competitive advantages of concrete like health and environment of human beings were often threatened. The interesting point is that the tantalizing color, in some cases, made the concrete structures to loose their beauty, because although some environmental factors like sunlight, time, etc., did not hurt the gray color of concrete, but it did hurt the color and appearance of unstudied colorful concrete. The colored concrete produced through these colorful fumes are stable, homogenous and brilliant. Other competitive advantages of this new product include: sealing-off and making the concrete impermeable by using these fumes, increasing the anti-friction characteristic, increasing the compressive, tensile and flexural strengths, reducing the power of aggressive elements such as chloro-sulfate from attacking to the concrete containing colored fumes and reducing the relaxation coefficient, increasing the electrical resistance of the concrete that contains colored microsilica fume compared to colored concrete containing colored powder, simplicity in usage and leaving no health problem, as created by colored powder for the workers.

Packaging:

The modified silicafume gel-colored is available in buckets and bags. The bucket-packed product is available in 4kg. 10kg, 25kg and 30kg buckets. The watertight bags of these gels, the price of which has been reduced following FABIR's innovative technology that has made all gel-form products of the company to be easily usable, are also available in 10kg, 12kg and 15 kg bags.

State: gel-form when it is still, and after shaking it changes into liquid,

Directions on Usage:

Add to the concrete 4% to 8% of the weight of cement used. When producing concrete, the colored silicafume gel can be added to the concrete in batching, mixture, or mixer. In case you add the colored silicafume gel in truck mixer, please make sure it is completely mixed in the concrete. According to the workshop experiences, the colored silicafume gel should be mixed in the truck mixer for 2 to 5 minutes. To get the best result, the colored silicafume gel is sometimes used in the workshops in two parts, which issue has illustrated a better result. In this case, part of the colored silicafume gel is added in batching and part as a reminder dose is added to the truck mixer 5 minutes before use.

Effects of Less or More Use:

The use of less than 4% of colored silicafume gel will lead to non-appearance of real power, creation of fluidity, and reduction of water, fainting of the related color in concrete, quicker drop of fluidity properties and reduction of the free lime absorbing power and the relative decrease of all above-mentioned properties in the concrete containing colored silicafume gel. The use silicafume gel above 8% of the weight of the cement used in the concrete and mortar must be carried out with prior tests and as practicable, with the coordination of technical department of FABIR Co.

Safety Considerations:

The colored silicafume gel is not flammable and does not endanger the health of the users. However make sure its possible excretions, especially in eyes, are quickly washed out. Based on international protocols, the SMDS manual is also available and you are advised to study the said manual.
