Description:

Silicafume gel is an admixture with exclusively patent formula produced and supplied under different classes. Gel AP2RREB is a Silicafume gel with effect of air entrainment in concrete.
Silicafume gel AP2RREB is developed for application in high strength, water proof, impermeable and high-durability concrete as well as special quality mortar. It is recommended for concrete, where relative enhancement of tensile and flexural strength is required. Since there is air-entraining agent in frost and defrost cycles, it shows high durability coefficient.
Application of Air entraining agent AP2RREB is suitable where concrete is alternatively subjected to stroke and dynamic loads.
Air entraining agent AP2RREB maximize service life of structure by increasing concrete strength against ambient, chemical, physical and internal aggressive elements as well as great reduction in long term damages promoted by not to care in ideal curing during early hours after pouring concrete.
In the above air-entraining silicafume gel, a special attention has been paid to the number of microscopic air bublles needed to cope with frost and defrost cycles, rather than relying on the volume of air adequate to deal with these cycles, according to recent findings on concrete technology. A quantity of air between 0.5 to 5 percent may be created in the concrete.

Advantages:

● Strengths: Although all tensile, flexural, compressive strengths gel are improved in AP2RREB, relative increase of tensile and flexural strengths is more considerable than that of compressive strength.
● Permeability of water and external destructive factors: The concrete and cement paste containing Air entraining agent AP2RREB has not only low permeability, but also limits operation of factors which cause more permeability in concrete and cement paste through working life time of concrete.

How to use:

Add 5%-8% of the used cement weight, as combined with AP2RB, to concrete, so that 50 percent of the gel AP2RREB and 50 percent of the Class AP2RB silica fume gel are used. It is better to add gel AP2RREB to concrete at the time of mixing process into batching. If gel AP2RREB is added to truck mixer, care should be taken to insure of complete mixing. Mixing gel AP2RREB to truck mixer needs a mixing time of 3-5 minutes.

Safety Considerations:

The AP2RREB silicafume gel is not flammable and does not endanger the health of the users. However, make sure that its possible excretions are washed out by cold water. Based on international protocols, the MSDS manual is also available and you are advised to study the said manual.
