Air entraining agent FabAir-U1

Description:

FabAir is a special air entraining agent which is used for reduction of penetrability and increasing the durability of concrete structures against frost and defrosts cycles. Existence of a large number of microscopic air bubbles which are embedded separately in the concrete neutralizes the pressures resulting from frosting of water penetrated particles and it remarkably increases the concrete stability. In production of Air entraining agent FabAir, the observance of ASTM-C260-81 requirements has been emphasized.

Applications:

1- Placing concrete in roads, highways, airport runways and sidewalks
2- Production of desirable concrete for dams, tanks, irrigation networks, drainage systems and jetties, etc.
3- Placing concrete in cold regions
4- Concrete kerb and floor construction

Dosage:

In order to obtain specific properties, the best dosage of Air entraining agent FabAir is determined through implementing a series of different tests in workshop conditions. The volume of usual consumption ranges from 500gr to 2500gr per each 100 kg of the cement materials of concrete (0.5% to 2.5% in proportion to the weight of cement used).

Mixing:

1- Can be mixed with the whole or part of concrete mixing water, and added to the concrete.
2- Can be added to the concrete ready mixture, and placing of concrete shall commence after full mixing.
3- In case several admixtures are simultaneously used, please contact our technical department.

Packaging:

Air entraining agent is available in liquid form in 20 liter gallons or 220 liter barrels. We can also deliver the product in customized packaging or without packaging (in tankers) according to the customer's order.

Storing:

FabAir must be kept at a temperature of above 0°C. In case of frosting, please make sure to mix and homogenize it under the recommendations of FABIR's technical representative. In case FabAir is kept at within a temperature ranging from 5 to 37°C, there is no need for any type of arrangements before use for 12 months as of the production date.
