Fabgrout-CA®

Description:

Fab Grout-CA is a dry and ready-to-use concrete which is mixed with water and one of FABIR’s special gels and is formed into an expansive and non-contractile concrete that could be used for medium sized structures due to size of the aggregates. The resulting non shrinkage concrete for which there are very good chemical and mechanical properties in terms of durability and strength, have been satisfied by most customers when it was used for the installation of machinery for large-scale foundation.
To achieve the specified strength of 280 Kg/cm2 on a cylindrical sample and the slump of almost 17 cm, it is sufficient to mix 2.5 kg of the Fab Grout-CA special gel and 1300-1400 CC of water for every 25kg bag of Fab Grout-CA. In this case, the 7-day strength and 28-days strength achieved on a cylindrical sample would be 320 Kg/cm2 and 380 Kg/cm2, respectively.
In another test, 3230 kg of Fab Grout-CA special gel is mixed with 1280 CC of water with a slump of almost 20 cm and 7-day strength of 390 Kg/cm2 and 28-day strength of 420 Kg/cm2.
All technical specifications of this concrete comply with the ABA regulations and the ASTM standard. Please use the produced grout within a maximum period of 20 minutes.

Applications:

• Medium-sized grouts beneath the industrial foundations
• Repair of industrial structures that require a dry expansive and non-contractile concrete
• Filling medium-sized machinery box holes to replace the bolts

Advantages and Special Features:

• Fab Grout-CA together with its special gel contains all necessary admixtures and cement materials and aggregates, and contains no other ingredients, except water.
• Fab Grout-CA special gel contains special admixtures that create high fluidity with the lowest degree of the water used, leading the grout to show a proper strength in high fluidity, as a special feature.
• Fab Grout-CA does not contain ferrous aggregates, so it is never subject to corrosion and rustiness.
• Fab Grout-CA establishes a gaseous expansion system in fresh concrete, and in this way it compensates the shrinkage and infiltration in the grout.
• Compressive strength of Fab Grout-CA is high in long- and short-term periods, and considering that that its admixtures are completely consistent with the standards required, the durability of this grout is guaranteed.

Packaging:

Fab Grout-CA is available in 25 kg bags. Customized packages are available on request.

State: Mixture of powder and aggregates

Storing:

Fab Grout-CA could be used for at least 12 months if stored in original packing and kept away from moisture and strong heat. Otherwise, the expiry date will arrive sooner.

Directions on Usage:

• Before applying, be sure to clean the surface of all the oil and pollution and loose particles on the layers of previous concrete.
• Make sure to use grout-water mixture as soon as possible.
• In warm areas, the water needed for the grout must be at least at a temperature of 4°C.

Approximately 2370 kg/m3, depending of full conformity with application method
